Member of American Legion and the Civilian Conservation Corps. He was retired from U.S. Steel, where he worked for 50 years; was a WWII Veteran of the Army Air Corps; was born in Salem, IL, moved to Chicago where he met Mary. Funeral Monday, 9:15 a.m., from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, to Queen of Martyrs Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment private.
