Toyota High School Athlete of the Week:
Lindsey Coleman, Queen of Peace
Tossed three shutouts last week — striking out seven in a 4-0 victory over Mother McAuley Monday, striking out 12 in a 5-0 victory over St. Ignatius Tuesday and striking out six and driving in two runs in a 16-0 victory over St. Francis de Sales Saturday.

Sammie Bloomfield, Barrington
In six games, she went 9-for-14 with three homers, including two grand slams.
Danny Dahm, Niles West
Dahm threw the first no-hitter by a Niles West pitcher in over 16 years in a 1-0 victory over Maine South on Tuesday. He struck out nine and walked one batter.
Matt Eckardt, Palatine
Set personal and school records in winning the floor exercise (9.8), parallel bars (9.35) and all-around title (9.3 average) to lead Palatine to its second straight Mid-Suburban League title and a school record team score (159.1). He also won the high bar with a personal best (9.05).
Kyle Glancy, Oak Park
Threw a no-hitter in a 6-0 victory over Addison Trail Monday, striking out seven and walking two.
Nate LeRoy, Loyola
LeRoy scored 10 goals in a 15-9 water polo victory over Palatine Tuesday.
Eileen Moran, Providence
Set meet records in the 400 at Lockport (58.9) and Benet (58.5) and hasn’t lost outdoors this season.
Bri Rodriguez, Waubonsie Valley
Sophomore had four goals and four assists in four victories for No. 1 ranked Waubonsie Valley.
Lauren Ryan, Rolling Meadows
Scored 13 goals and had four assists in a 4-1 week for Rolling Meadows. She had a hat trick in each of the four victories.
Mat Smoody, Palatine
On Monday won the 800 and 1,600 to help Palatine to its first division title in 10 years. On Saturday at the Palatine Relays, he set a meet record in the 800 in 1:51.8, the top time in Illinois this year. He took second in the 1,600 and anchored the winning 1,600 relay team, coming from 50 meters back to win at the tape and give Palatine the team title.
