One person was killed and two others wounded in a shooting late Sunday on the South Side, police said.
The incident occurred at about 8:50 p.m. near East 57th Street and South Wabash Avenue in the Washington Park neighborhood, said Chicago Police Officer Hector Alfaro.
Police released few details about the shooting, but Alfaro said the two injured people were taken to area hospitals in critical condition.
Alfaro said no one was in custody late Sunday.
