* A graphic on Page 14 of Tuesday’s front section incorrectly reported who conducted testing of an airplane safety system at Syracuse Hancock International Airport on Aug. 28. Testing was conducted by Honeywell International and Sensis Corp.

* Luis Arroyave’s soccer column on Page 2 of Tuesday’s Sports section misstated details of Wilman Conde’s debut with the Fire. He is expected to do so on Saturday against the Columbus Crew.

* In Fred Mitchell’s column on the back page of Tuesday’s Sports section, an incorrect nickname was given for “Sweet Swingin'” Billy Williams.

* Teddy Greenstein’s sports media column on Page 2 of Friday’s Sports section misspelled Erik Kuselias’ name.

* A map that accompanied a Page 1 story on Sunday about Sherman School incorrectly labeled Sherman Park as Garfield Park.

* Mark Caro’s Tempo article on Aug. 30 erred in stating that Roger Ebert withdrew permission for the use of his trademarked thumbs on “At the Movies With Ebert & Roeper” after he hit a contract impasse with Disney, which owns the movie-reviewing television show. Ebert has said that Disney chose to remove the thumbs from the show. The story also erred in saying that Richard Roeper had not discussed the dispute publicly; he was asked about it last week on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.”
