Bernice “Bea” C. Walen, 83, passed away suddenly Nov. 8, 2007, beloved wife of the late Chester Walen; dear aunt of Donald (Marynell Slee) Watts of Estero, FL; great-aunt of Peter and Katie Watts; fond cousin and friend of many.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Pauline Mackowicz; her sister, Mary (Peter) Watts; and her niece, Margaret “Peggy” Watts.
Gathering of family and friends Wednesday, Nov. 21, 12:30 p.m., with Mass at 1 p.m., at St. Josaphat Church, 2311 N. Southport, Chicago, 773-327-8955, followed immediately by private inurnment.
