Police are investigating the homicide of a South Side man Saturday night.

Officers arrived at Ingglace Johnson’s basement apartment in the 600 block of West 59th Street about 6 p.m. after neighbors reported hearing a disturbance, a police spokesman said.

Johnson, 27, had suffered what appeared to be a blow to the head, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. It was not clear whether he had been assaulted, a spokesman for the office said.

Police had no suspects in custody as of Sunday afternoon.
