Born in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Rudolph and Magdalen, nee Wilmsen, Shefcik; loving husband of Elizabeth “Betty” Shefcik; father of Bob (Kay) Shefcik, Beth (Tom) Filipek, Barb (Ross) Bridge and Bill (Tish) Shefcik; grandfather of Christy, Katie, Michael, Dan, Brendan, Bobby, Matthew and the late Megan Filipek; brother of the late Larry and Tom Shefcik and Marge Steinert.
