Hillard “Hill” F. Schultz, passed away in Forestville, CA on December 29, 2008, dearly beloved husband of over 50 years of the late Rosemarie Schultz; loving father of Marcy Rayher of Santa Rosa, and Marli Davis of TX; adored grandfather of ReedRayher, Raine Rayher-Royal (Gary), Michael and Jeffrey Davis; great grandfather of Abigail Rayher-Royal; also survived by his godson, Dr. Leighton Johnson (Kathy). A native of Chicago, IL, age 92 years.
Hill served in the U.S. Air Force, during WWII. He later became a firefighter in Chicago, and then owned a painting a decorating firm.
Hill’s passion in life was work, but he also believed in giving back to the community; he was a volunteer for many years with the Lions Club and was a member of the VFW. A private service was held, and inurnment will be at Mt Carmel Cemetery, Hillside, IL.Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral and Cremation Services,707-525-3730.
