Consuelo Sroubek, 77, of North Riverside.
Beloved wife of the late Otakar; loving mother of Otakar and Karel (Ann) Sroubek; proud grandmother of Amanda, Justin, Lauren, Nicole and Brendan; dearest sister of Amparo, Luz, and Jenny.
Consuelo was a trained Soprano in Classical Opera.
She taught voice and piano and appeared on The Artist Showcase on WGN in the 1960’s. Visitation Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 2 to 8 p.m. atWoodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 W. Cermak Road, Forest Park.
Family and friends will meet at Mater Christi Catholic Church, 2431 S. 10th Ave. North Riverside, on Friday for a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass.
