Chicago firefighters responded to a high rise fire on the 37th floor of a building in the Park West neighborhood this afternoon, officials said.
The fire occurred in a stove inside of an apartment in the building on the 2600 block of North Lake View Avenue, said Quention Curtis, a fire department spokesman.
There were no injuries reported about 1 p.m. The fire was under control by 1:30 p.m., Curtis said.
Firefighters were searching stairways of the building to make sure there were no injuries, Curtis said.
