A Wonder Lake-area man was being held on felony child and domestic battery charges after the McHenry County sheriff’s department said his infant child was hospitalized in critical condition with suspicious bruising and other injuries. Gavin J.B. Daly, 26, of the 8900 block of Shady Lane in unincorporated McHenry County, was being held on a $250,000 bond. At press time, the child was on a respirator at a Milwaukee hospital, the sheriff’s office said.
