Someone entered a tobacco shop at 1202 75th St. in Downers Grove and removed 40 cartons of cigarettes and a television about 1:30 a.m. April 20. The offender pried the rear door open and also unsuccessfully attempted to break into three other nearby business, police said. The items were valued at $4,500.
