HICKORY HILLS

A Roselle man was charged with reckless driving and transportation of open alcohol after police received a complaint about a suspicious vehicle moving back and forth on a street while the driver honked and shouted out of the window for over an hour in Hickory Hills, police said.

Pawel W. Mosio, 24, of the 1700 block of Seward Street was arrested last week after police arrived and saw him driving on the wrong side of the 9100 block of West 93rd Street before he ran a red light on the same block, police said. Mosio, who had an open bottle of brandy in the car, told police he had just broken up with his girlfriend who lived on that street and was trying to get back together with her, police said.
