Chicago White Sox rookie slugger Dayan Viciedo was named to the International League postseason all-star team.
Viciedo, 22, batted .297 with 28 doubles, 20 home runs and 78 RBIs in 118 games for Triple-A Charlotte.
Left-hander Hector Santiago earned Southern League pitcher of the week honors for Aug. 22-28. Santiago was 2-0 with 13 innings covering two starts for Double-A Birmingham.
