A south suburban Harvey man was killed a short distance from his home, authorities said today.
Killed was Glenn Arrington, 20, of the 500 block of East 147th Place in Harvey, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Arrington was shot multiple times Sunday night on the same block as his home, according to authorities. The was rushed to nearby Ingalls Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
A spokeswoman for Harvey police could offer no new details aside from confirming that the shooting was a homicide and that no arrests had been made.
