The Nationwide Series returns to Chicagoland Speedway for the second time this season for the 28th race in the 2011 series. Six races remain after Saturday.
Saturday: Dollar General 300, 2:30 p.m.; parking lots open at 8 a.m.
Distance: 300 miles, 200 laps on the 1.5-mile oval.
Entries: 48 cars competed in Friday’s practice rounds; qualifying at 11:10 a.m. Saturday.
Who to watch: Ricky Stenhouse Jr. leads the series by 16 points over Elliott Sadler. Justin Allgaier, 25, of downstate Riverton, is fifth. He won in Chicago in June but has struggled since, including two DNFs.
