No. 6 Kentucky 66, UC Santa Barbara 38: A’dia Mathies scored 19 points as the visiting Wildcats pulled away from the Gauchos in the second half.

Kentucky (10-1) only led 28-20 at halftime but used a 23-4 run early in the second half to break open the game. Mathies scored eight points during the surge, including back-to-back 3-pointers.

Melissa Zornig and Sweets Underwood led UC Santa Barbara (4-7) with nine points. Underwood pulled down 12 rebounds and Kirsten Tilleman added 10 boards for the Gauchos, who committed 28 turnovers.

Kentucky got 12 points and 10 rebounds from Samarie Walker and DeNesha Stallworth scored 12.

The Wildcats outscored the Gauchos 38-18 in the second half.
