A 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the back during a fight in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
Police and paramedics were called about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday to the 7000 block of South Winchester Avenue, according to Police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada and fire officials.
A boy suffered a stab wound to his back during an altercation, according to the Fire Deparement. He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, fire officials said.
Details of the fight were not available.
