Walgreen Co. reported Wednesday its same-store sales climbed 4.1 percent in November to $6.07 billion, with a boost from new promotional strategies.
For the first quarter of its fiscal year, sales at stores open at least a year climbed 5.5 percent. Including new stores, sales climbed 6 percent to $18.35 billion.
Shares in Walgreen were flat in premarket trading.
