No. 9 Baylor 100, Houston Baptist 57: Odyssey Sims totaled 25 points and dished out a game-high seven assists as the host Lady Bears cruised past the Huskies.

Nina Davis added 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting and grabbed five rebounds to go with four steals and a pair of assists for Baylor (8-1), which recovered from its only loss of the season _ a four overtime heartbreaker against sixth-ranked Kentucky _ last time out. Khadijah Cave chipped in with 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Lady Bears, who shot 50.6 percent.

Baylor was well on its way to waltzing to a win by halftime, leading 51-25 at the break. Sims had 14 points in the first half and Davis 10, marking the fourth time this season the Lady Bears have had two players reach double figures in the opening 20 minutes.

After Jefferson knocked down a 3-pointer to open the second half for the Huskies, Baylor rolled off 10 unanswered points, led by four from Sims, to continue its dominance. Houston Baptist would get no closer than 26 down the stretch, as the Lady Bears emptied the bench, with all 12 players seeing action registering at least a point.
