Creighton 88, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 51: Doug McDermott tallied 25 points and nine rebounds and Ethan Wragge scored 12 points on four 3-pointers as the host Bluejays routed the Golden Lions for their third straight win.

Will Artino added 10 points off the bench for Creighton (8-2), which has won 49 of its last 50 regular-season home games against unranked opponents. The Bluejays were just 10-of-30 from 3-point range but made up for it by going 24-of-26 from the foul line.

Tevin Hammond scored 22 points to lead Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2-8), which has dropped eight straight. DaVon Haynes added nine points and three blocks for the Golden Lions, who were 6-of-21 from beyond the arc.

The Bluejays never trailed, opening up a 28-9 lead in the first 11 minutes behind 12 points from McDermott. They shot 50 percent from the field and went 14-of-15 from the line while doubling up the Golden Lions 44-22 in the first half.

Creighton endured a rough start to the second half, missing 13 of its first 14 field-goal attempts coming out of the break. Arkansas-Pine Bluff was only able to trim the deficit to 55-38, though, and Wragge’s 3-pointer sparked a 10-0 run that put it away.
