A man robbed an Elmhurst bank this afternoon, according to the FBI.
The man robbed the First Merit Bank, 700 W. North Ave., at about 1:15 p.m., said FBI Chicago office spokeswoman Special Agent Joan Hyde.
The man was described as white, about 40 years old, with grey or shaved hair, wearing blue jeans, a tan jacket, black sunglasses and a baseball cap, Hyde said.
