Indian Film Festival Los Angeles

narrative jury, organizers announced on April 3. Other members are John Orlando, head of digital development for Crackle and Sony Pictures Television, and actress Meera Simhan (“Date Movie”).

The documentary

jury comprises writer-producer-director Brian Knappenberger (“Scratch), Sundance, AFI fest

programmer Dilcia Barrera

and

producer Chris Salvaterra (“

Syriana”). Judging the short films are Gena Desclos, senior VP of post-production at HBO Entertainment; writer-director Kamal K.M. (“I.D.”); and Sundance and Palm Springs short fest programmer Heidi Zwicker.

In addition, fest organizers announced a screening of “

Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown

” featuring cuisine from the Punjab. The musical program Rhythm Village in the ArcLight’s courtyard includes an April 10 centerpiece celebration featuring
