Chicago police have issued a missing person alert for a 12-year-old girl who is bipolar.
Charity Percy, of the 10900 block of South Longwood, last made contact with her family Oct. 19, police said.
The girl frequents the area of Blackwelder Park on the South Side, police said
Police said the girl is bipolar and has not been taking her medication.
She is described as black, with brown eyes and brown hair. She is 5-foot-1 and weighs about 120 pounds, police said.
She was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black stretch pants and a Clissold Elementary School hooded gray sweatshirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
