Bostic could face an uphill battle to make the team. He’s well behind teammates because of missing the entire offseason program with a variety of ailments.
Bostic was drafted by the previous regime and it’s not like he has terrific game tape the front office and coaches can throw on and look to for an idea of what they will get from him. Some scouts I spoke to when he was drafted described him as a run-and-hit player. That means he played with terrific athletic ability but didn’t always display the best instincts. I think it’s still fair to say that about Bostic and if it comes down to special teams, he could lose out to a player like DeDe Lattimore. We’ll see. Like you said, it’s super early. Bostic needs to play catch up though.
