“Mixology” star and Chicago native comedian Andrew Santino is hosting a two hour-long comedy special Friday night at the Vic Theatre.

The show, free to the public, will be filmed as part of the new Showtime series “I’m Dying Up Here.” Free tickets can be reserved in advance on The Black List NYC’s website.

The upcoming comedy series, set in L.A’s celebrated comedy scene of the 1970s, is executive produced by Golden Globe winner Jim Carrey. Showtime announced that it would pick up “I’m Dying Up Here” in January, for an unspecified number of episodes.

“Mixology,” a sitcom, aired on ABC for one season in 2014. It was created by “The Hangover” writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore.

Santino, 32, who started acting in 2008, has performed stand-up on TBS talk show “Conan.” The comedian released his debut album “Say No More” on Comedy Central Records in November.
