A man attempted to lure a girl into a van Sunday in Round Lake Beach, police said.
The girl was walking by her home near Morningside and Meadowbrook drives, near Morningside Park, when a van pulled up about 7 p.m., according to Round Lake Beach police.
A man inside the van opened the sliding door on the passenger’s side and the girl to get into the van, police said. The girl refused and the man drove away.
The van is described as black with tinted windows and light blue lettering on the side, according to police.
