Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Looking for a healthy dose of nostalgia? Well, Netflix is bringing back the mixtape — sort of. (How’s that for a throwback?)

The streaming giant recently launched Flixtape, a new feature that allows users to create their own short playlists of TV and movies based around a theme, mood or message. Then they can either indulge in the Flixtape themselves or share it with the world via Twitter, Facebook, email or text. Finally, a playlist that can make all your Netflix and chill dreams a reality!

Once you type in the feeling you’re trying to capture or a genre you love, Flixtape will offer a suggestion list of titles for your playlist. The editor allows you to replace or remove any of those titles and add up to six total films, documentaries or TV shows to your Flixtape playlist.

If you’re looking to woo a lover with your supreme cultural taste, add their name to the customizable cover of your Flixtape. Because nothing says you’re worldly and sophisticated like slapping your significant other’s name on some cover art. Trust us.

Gone are the days of popping a homemade mixtape into a cassette player. (Bummer.) But at least you can look forward to a future of binge-watching personalized Flixtapes. (Hooray!)

So keep calm and stream on.
