Much has been made of McCaffrey’s decision to sit out the Sun Bowl, but it’s much ado about nothing for a guy that carried this Stanford offense the past two years. In the second game of the 2015 season, Stanford head coach David Shaw decided to put the focus of his offense on McCaffrey and never looked back. McCaffrey piled up yards in as many different ways as any player in the nation, and that versatility is part of what makes him so attractive to NFL scouts. He has the ability to make players miss in space, while his vision to find holes in a defense is top notch.
