Hannover climbed up provisionally to first place in Bundesliga after defeating Hamburg, 2-0, thanks to goals from Austrian Martin Harnik and Togolese Ihlas Bebou in the second half.
The absence of Brazilian forward Jonatas due to muscle pain did not spot the uncontainable Hannover, which has only given up a draw in the first four league matches.
Austrian international Martin Harnik did not miss his chance to add to the four goals already totaled this season, opening the count for the home team five minutes into the second half.
Togolese Ihlas Bebou rounded out the definitive 2-0 for Hannover in the 82nd minute by taking a rebound from a clearance by Hamburg goalkeeper Christian Mathenia.
