Naperville police are investigating an armed robbery that took place late Sunday at a gas station in the 600 block of Illinois Highway 59.
According to a news release, police were called to a Speedway about 11:30 p.m. and were told that three men had displayed a silver and black semi-automatic handgun and stole money, keys and a cellphone before leaving on foot.
An employee suffered a minor injury but did not require medical attention.
Police are still searching for the offenders.
The man who displayed the gun was described as black, 5-foot-9 to 6 feet, age unknown. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with lettering on the front, pajama-style pants with a pattern on them, white shoes and a black mask.
A second man was described as black, 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-5 with a thin build and age unknown. He was reported to be wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black pants with a white stripe going down the side and white shoes. He also was wearing a white plastic mask.
A third man was described as black, 6-foot-1 to 6-foot-3 with a heavy build and age unknown. He was reported to be wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white stripes on the shoulders, black pants and tan shoes. He was wearing a black mask.
