Chicago Fire striker Nemanja Nikolic has been included in the 2017 MLS Best XI.

Nikolic, 29, earned his first selection in the annual list as voted by MLS players, technical staff, and memeber of the media.

in 2017, the Hungarian forward won the MLS Golden Boot by leading the league in goals with 24, breaking the franchise record for goals in a season held by Ante Razov since 2000.

He also finished second in the voting for the Newcomer of the Year award, and is among the finalists for the Most Valuable Player award to be named on December 4.

Nikolic is the sole Chicago Fire player in the MLS Best XI. Toronto FC leads all teams with three selections, followed by Atlanta United and Sporting Kansas City with two each.
