
A man was found dead on a CTA train early Thursday near the Howard station in Rogers Park, causing delays for Yellow and Purple line trains.
CTA employees found the 56-year-old man unresponsive in a car around 2:45 a.m. near the station at 7519 N. Paulina St. on the North Side, Chicago police said.
The man had no visible injuries. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Riders briefly had to board Purple line trains to Linden and Yellow Line trains to Skokie from the southbound platform, according to the CTA.
Normal boarding has resumed, but trains are experiencing residual delays.
