After a soccer injury left her without a way to compete, Sinead Schenk, 23, started boxing and eventually competing with Unanimous Boxing Gym in Chicago’s Logan Square. “I’m a very competitive person and I didn’t have that outlet with soccer anymore because of my injuries. I like playing sports. So that was always in the back of my mind. I was like, yeah, I’ll fight.”
