Tuesday’s White Sox game against the Tigers was postponed because of rain and will be made up Sept. 27 as part of a straight doubleheader beginning at 3:40 p.m.

The originally scheduled game will begin about 30 minutes after the first game ends.

Reynaldo Lopez was scheduled to start Tuesday, but the Sox said Dylan Cease and Ross Detwiler remain scheduled to start Wednesday’s doubleheader. Cease will be making his major-league debut.
