Opportunity Enterprises holding free summer celebration on Friday
Food, games and a DJ will be on display at Opportunity Enterprises’ Summer Celebration, from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Urschel Pavilion in downtown Valparaiso.
The Summer Celebration will feature a free meal for the first 500 guests including pulled pork, chips, and ice cream provided by Birky Family Farms and Valpo Velvet. Additional food is available for purchase throughout the event including a cash bar. Throughout the pavilion, guests can partake of games, activities, face painting and DJ led dance.
A special presentation will be held at 6 p.m. to honor 26 years of service and the retirement of CEO, Ellen DeMartinis, and welcome new CEO, Neil Samahon.
