According to the statement, while the student was on the way to Central Middle School at 9 a.m. on Wednesday near Salem Foods, a man in his 20s approached the student and attempted to start a conversation several times, police said in a statement.

The statement added that the driver then made a sexual motion to the student as the student continued to walk away.

The student identified the driver as a man in his mid to early 20s with a thin build with a short “Afro” hairstyle. The driver was also described as wearing square glasses with thin frames, according to the statement.

The vehicle is identified as a light colored 2006-12 four door Toyota Camry with a dented driver’s door, but there was no license plate information available, police said.
