Total disgrace

The questioning of Attorney General Barr by the House Judiciary Committee was a total disgrace.  The Democrats would not let him answer their biased questions, citing a lack of time. What a farce. I don’t know what they hoped to accomplish with this, but they just appeared to be fools. Nadler proved himself to be the king of the fools by stating that the riots are a myth. Does he not own a television set?

Basis of ability

Shouldn’t the Democratic vice presidential candidate be selected on the basis of ability and not sex, race, etc.?

Party of stupid

Republicans have become just the party of stupid. Believe the Russians, not American intelligence agencies? Global warming is a hoax? Pizzagate? Now the president and vice president are telling us to trust the wacky doctors who tell you not to wear masks because there’s a cure for COVID-19, even though they also believe vaccines are made with alien DNA. The question now is: Are there enough Americans who will swallow this baloney to to put any of these charlatons back in office?

Look it up

This if for the person who questioned what Christopher Columbus did to us: I suggest that you google Christopher Columbus and you will learn how horrific he was towards the natives and anyone who opposed him — things we were not taught in grade school about the man who discovered the Americas, started the European invasion.

Tax break?

Sure nice to see all of the hard work and tax dollars going into upgrading Beach Park schools, which won’t even be occupied until who knows when. Our property taxes should be adjusted and reduced for the time-frame remote learning is in effect. Parents may lose a salary if one has to stay home while their children are remotely educated. There won’t be sports, band, lunchroom and janitorial service, so a lot of salaries won’t be necessary, just to name a few. And there should be no salary increases for anyone either. School registration fees should be reduced as well.

Deep trouble

I am listening to Biden’s news conference, and all I can say is we will be in deep trouble if he is elected.  He cannot answer any question coherently without jumping into another thought. He spoke so slowly and it seemed like he was getting prompts in his ear.

Make it happen

Donald tried to pretend to take the coronavirus seriously for a week, but his true colors showed, spreading disinformation through some far-right wacko doctor video. Once again, he doesn’t take the virus seriously, he doesn’t take you seriously and he continues to make a mockery of the presidency while gloating in buffoonery. This reality show must end in January. Make it happen in November.

Full of himself

I wasn’t a fan of Biden when he was Obama’s vice-president. I’m definitely not a fan of him being the Democratic presidential choice, but it is what it is. Anything is better than another four years of Trump. I find Biden’s repeating, and his “come on man,” so annoying I cringe. He is obviously full of himself. Now they’re talking about Kamala Harris being his VP pick. My other big no. Anyone but her, please. Anyone. She too is so full of herself. I find her nasally talking not only annoying, but there’s something distrustful about it. If it wasn’t so important, I would sit this election out. It’s just not an option, unfortunately.

Setting traps?

There’s nothing like listening to dogs barking in the early morning on a weekend when people are trying to sleep after a long week of work. Some people in Winthrop Harbor just don’t have respect for other people. We also have dog-walkers that allow their dogs to pee and poop on other people’s lawns. I pay to have our lawn fertilized each year, and I don’t appreciate having it ruined by disrespectful idiots that let their dogs ruin it. I wonder if I set some traps in the yard if that would deter these idiots. Or maybe some hot pepper placed on the lawn. Hmmm.
