Dems soft on crime: The Democratic Party has often been castigated as being soft on crime, and the truth is they are. They are much more favoring the criminal than the victims. They really could care less about the victims, all they’re concerned with is getting votes from the criminals they refuse to prosecute. America needs to wake up.
Sad day for journalism: Alden has won its bid for acquisition of the Tribune. It is a very sad and worrisome day in the history of American journalism.
Congress can stop guns: There are many purposes for the use of guns. The question is how is society going to deal with them when the use is abuse. Currently we hear a lot of restrictive talk just like the many other times mass shootings have took the news by storm. There is no way to deal with this issue unless Congress will have the backbone to react with meaningful legislation that the gun lobbyist persuasion can’t stop.
Which threat is worse? It’s getting popular these days to speculate on whether or not UFO’s are legit and if they pose a serious threat to our national security. Like most everyone else I simply don’t have a clue, and besides, I’m much more concerned with the very real damage being done by the Republican Party in Congress!
UFO threat very real: Ask yourselves this question: Why after 70 years of hiding information regarding the UFO phenomenon is our military and prominent government officials finally releasing photos, videos and documents? And why are top-rated news outlets devoting quality airtime to this subject? Because it’s very real and we’re being prepared for something quite profound. Now is the time to unite. Everyone, we are going to need each other more than we know.
Check taxes before buying: The price is going through the roof in a red-hot U.S. home market. I would caution everyone who is looking to buy a house or is willing to pay an exorbitant price for a house that’s well over market value to look at how much they will be paying in real estate taxes in the years to come. Remember that the price you pay dictates how much you will pay in real estate taxes for at least the next four years, and we all know our real estate tax goes sky high every single year.
Redistricting map a mess: When you have the opportunity, Google the new redistricting map for Illinois. It is an unbelievable puzzle with many twists, turns and squares that make absolutely no sense, unless the map has been drawn up for a definite political purpose. So much for transparency. Remember the representatives and senators who will vote for this debacle. Oh, and don’t forget the governor who will probably sign it into law.
