Most of those people of great courage we see fighting wildfires in the western United States and often risking their lives do not in most cases even earn the minimum wage of $15 an hour. Of course as far as Republicans are concerned, paying them $15 an hour would ruin our entire economy.
It will go down as one of the most shameful chapters and greatest mysteries in American history, how a person with such a public and indisputable record of immorality, infidelity, and criminality could have gained near-complete control of an entire political party.
How do you know when certain diehard Republicans have nothing to offer? You know it because they revert back to the labels they think resonate with their dwindling group of supporters. They haven’t noticed that many Republicans resent their own kind who try to use the words uneducated, welfare and non-working to characterize certain people. It just doesn’t work anymore! Need proof? Trump lost a large number of votes because of his bashing of minorities and migrants. The swing vote in several battleground states went to Biden because Republicans had nothing to offer but innuendos about ‘those’ people are going to ruin your lifestyle. Just recently, an entire country witnessed an insurrection that was inspired and carried out by Republican supporters. Someone said this is the real problem in our society! The old stereotype stuff just won’t work anymore. Hypocrisy has revealed itself!
Times are changing. During the Conservative Political Action Conference in Dallas, Donald Trump gave his usual false accusations about getting more votes than Joe Biden. Just then, Fox News ran a disclaimer that said “The voting system companies have denied the various allegations made by President Trump.” Fox News is currently going through several billions in lawsuits for allowing guests to spout outrageous conspiracy theories that the election was fixed. Money talks.
The Trump party is enacting voter restricting laws even though there wasn’t any fraud. He lost by seven million votes to Biden who received more votes than any president ever! Even during a pandemic. Yet they want to make it harder for you to vote. There is only one word for it. Disgraceful.
Even after information coming out that the military had to keep Trump from enacting a coup, the Republicans still say he’s their guy. If you’re an American patriot and believe in democracy, you cannot support these people.
What seems to irritate Donald Trump the most is that he lost an election that he thought that he had rigged to win, and the Supreme Court justices that he nominated didn’t overturn the election for him.
Julie Olthoff is no different than any other Republican. She will only do whatever the Trump cult tells her to do.
Has President Biden invoked the Insurrection Act in able to send federal troops to Chicago?
Author Michael Wolff was asked what he learned after interviewing Donald Trump. “That he’s even crazier than I thought he was. Donald Trump is not like you and me. Something is off. Something is broken.” I think there is a lot broken there.
Cowards are the people who are trying to take away your right to vote. Cowards are the people who are vaccinated and are too afraid to tell their constituents. Cowards are the people who sell conspiracy theories to weak-minded people, and taunt them to breach the Capitol to try to overturn the election of a loser.
The changes in voting laws by Republican state legislatures aren’t a response to voter fraud, but to voter turnout, which is what they really want to suppress.
For all my 60 years, I have never seen so many people who call themselves Patriots, willfully deny the results of a democratic election for so long because some loser idiot couldn’t tolerate being labeled a loser.
In Florida, state health officials are begging Floridians to take action to prevent spiraling COVID variant cases. And then the Florida governor is trying to fundraise by mocking COVID-19 experts, urging donors to choose “Freedom over Faucism.”
