I am so disgusted
OMG. On the news, the Taliban is taking over Kabul, where we have an American embassy and troops. Biden has really messed this up. I hope that our troops get some protection. I am so disgusted by all of this.
Sign their names
Please have people sign their name in “Talk of the County” so we quit getting all these idiotic things in there. There were five in a recent edition that were just absolutely stupid.
So proud of them
I would like to comment about Native Americans and their contributions to the Second World War. They were indispensable. I am so proud of them, and am sorry there is not much said about their sacrifices. They are pushed aside, and they should be honored as heroes.

How to silence critics
The Communist Party in China has nothing on the Biden administration. China uses national security a lot to silence critics. Democrats use COVID, Google, Facebook and Twitter, to silence critics and use the power of the federal government to reward and punish them. Not that leftists at those outlets need much persuading.
Great job
I just wanted to thank the Waukegan Public Works Department for their quick response removing a downed tree that fell from the parkway and landed on my mom’s driveway during a recent storm. When I called Public Works, I just wanted to get our name on a list knowing there are trees down throughout the city. But they showed up a couple of hours later. The next morning, I showed up at my mom’s house and the tree was completely gone. To show up that quick and work through the wind and rain was something else. Again, our thanks to the crew in the Waukegan Public Works Department. Thank you, so much. Great job.
Take care of yourself
How can companies force someone, which they are doing, to take these vaccines that have not been approved by the FDA? You can no longer trust the government, which we never could, with your health. I feel it’s up to us to take care of ourselves, not the government. Isn’t it up to you to take care of yourself?
