Our Indiana Republican legislators remind us of a popular physical education activity, or gym if you prefer, that we all played. It was called dodge ball. You tried your best to avoid being hit with a large rubber ball coming from the opposing team on the other half of the gym floor. The winner was the last one standing who had not been hit. In the case of our Republican legislators the dodge balls are named Big Lie, Insurrection and Voter Fraud. The legislators make every effort to avoid responding to questions related to these issues. They don’t want to be ‘touched’ by by the politics of these discussions. We know why. They don’t want to anger that ‘I can do it alone guy.’ Nevertheless, voters have said during the next election debates they will no longer be able to dodge the ball. I mean the questions! It has been said a person standing in the middle of the road gets hit from both sides.

Our healthcare professionals are suffering from compassion fatigue. It happens when they have been pushed to the point of exhaustion and have nothing more to give. Also, most normal Americans are suffering from learned indifference and stupidity fatigue. You can’t help or feel sorry for people that refuse to help themselves.
Republicans are using Afghanistan to criticize Joe Biden, just as they used the Beirut incident to attack Hillary Clinton, even to the point of calling for her impeachment and prison time. What’s the precedent? Back in April of 1983, 17 Americans were killed in a car bombing of the U.S embassy in Beirut, and this was followed by a suicide bomber killing 241 U.S. Marines and other service personnel on October 23 that same year. I don’t recall hearing cries for Reagan’s impeachment or jail time for he or any of his cabinet, but I suppose selective outrage is a major benefit of being a Republican. If it’s not to your benefit, look the other way.
COVID-19 has proven that while it cannot fix stupid, it CAN kill it.
Quickly wrote that a writer wasn’t worthy of “Licking Joe’s boots”. First of all, Sleepy wears two left boots. Next, you wrote that if the writer has a problem with Sleepy, they should continue to follow Trump. That thought process and logic is why this country is doomed. Go back into Sleepy’s basement with him.
A woman in Greenville, South Carolina went to the school board meeting to protest required masks. Her reasoning was that she had uncovered a plot by the CDC to shut down schools and turn them into Nazi-style concentration camps, where children will be taken away from their parents, and couples separated from each other. We are in the middle of a mental health crisis in this country, and these people are crying out for help. This is not funny, this is dangerous.
What do Florida, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana have in common? They are all red states overrun with Covid. These states are what is going to put us back into mask mandates and venue closings. We will never defeat this virus until mandates are enacted to vaccinate everyone.
If you are displeased with our present governor, then blame Trump as he took our last one with him to Washington.
If Joe had just done a little planning before his knee-jerk pullout of the USA from Afghanistan, there would be no crisis! It had been talked about for many years by many great minds, but “BAM”, Joe has to do it in one day with no planning. Another Joe self-created crisis.
