A person walks by a growing memorial for 8-year-old Melissa Ortega on Jan. 26, 2022, at the corner of West 26th Street and South Pulaski Road where she was shot and killed Saturday in Little Village. Chicago police announced charges Wednesday against two suspects in her killing.
