This is one of the times I’m glad I don’t live in Oak Lawn. I can’t believe this Robert Cruz fellow from District 229 actually sued Pritzker about the mask mandate. Why is it the people who whine the most about having to wear masks and moan and complain about all these restrictions are the ones that keep this pandemic going. They’re the ones keeping us wearing masks and socially distancing and getting boosters. I’m glad he is off the school board, he’s putting those children’s lives in danger.

In response to David from Tinley Park’s comments concerning COVID-19 vaccines. You might be completely right about your facts on the subject, but keep in mind that you might be dead right. So many families are finally taking advantage of the three new sites just opening because a loved one, possibly very healthy, has recently died from COVID-19. Our government might be totally wrong on the subject, but they are very much trying to protect all citizens, young, old and everyone in between.

It looks like the Democrats with the help China and many corrupt American politicians and business leaders have accomplished as much as they possibly could to destroy this country. They are still desperately trying to change election law to ensure that they will win all future elections.
Bill, Plainfield
With Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, I never know what she really stands for. She seems to be into stirring things up and getting herself famous, or infamous. Wrangling to be a lobbyist or a TV pundit when she tires of the Senate or her constituents tire of her.

I saw the news coverage regarding Jason Van Dyke getting released from prison. Some community members are outraged and want the Justice Department to slap further charges on him. He was tried, convicted and sentenced already. Period. I would like to know where the community outrage is when, every day of the year, there are killings, carjackings, robberies, drive-by shootings, expressway shootings. In the years since Laquon McDonald was killed, hundreds of other people have been shot and murdered.
