Not around long enough

This is in response to “Cut their heads off”: Ann Taylor has not been the mayor long enough to be removed from office. First of all, she had nothing to do with the arrest of the 15-year-old. She did not go to the school to remove him, and she was not at the questioning. I would suggest that if you can do a better job, get your name on the ballot. Otherwise, keep your mouth shut and give her a chance.

Pay attention

Really? You complain that you are not seeing enough carnage in your news that you want more journalists to risk their lives for your pleasure or information? Please just go to Ukraine yourself. I think enough journalists have been killed or injured, and if you have not seen this you are not paying attention.

Running out of time

Hair sniffing. Weekends off. Biden is a terrible joke, and could get us into World War III. Harris is a laughing hyena. We are running out of time. America first.

What a boom

Cannabis is the big moneymaker for Illinois. So why is the state being so stupid about licensing? Let’s take an idea from Oklahoma and give a cannabis license to anyone who applies for $2,500. What a boom. We’ll be sucking the money out of the surrounding states.

Stay out of their business

I read the Illinois Senate is considering a bill to stop firings for off-the-job use of pot. You know, first of all medical marijuana is a joke. All it is, is a legal way for these people to make money and it’s a crock. But if I was a company, you don’t have the right to tell me what to do with people. If the people come in and stink of pot, which is the same as cigarette-smoking sometimes, they have the right. And if a person comes in high and can hurt somebody at the job, they have every right. I think a company should have the right to do what they want, whether it’s the COVID shot, or dress code or whatever. They’re the ones paying the bills. I think the government should stay out of their business.

Those days are gone

Sarah Bloom Raskin’s defeat for the post of vice chairman of the Federal Reserve is just a bump in the road for Democrats. Democrats have already weaponized most areas of our government — the FBI, the CIA, the IRS, etc. Basically, any department that is denoted with letters these days has been used by the Democrats to squash conservatives in almost every way. Democrats use federal power to pancake their political opponents. Barack Obama’s regulation nation was an example, where unelected leftist bureaucrats were writing furiously in the basement of our federal buildings to stop any conservative institution from thriving. The government’s federal institutions are supposed to be neutral, treating every American equally. Those days are gone.
