Now that workers and tourists are coming back to the city and large events are being held, the CTA is trying to figure out how to crack down on crime and unruliness on its buses and trains. For the last couple of years, they let these lowlifes do whatever they want. Now the CTA is trying to clean up its image and improve how the public perceives mass transit. To me, it’s too late. Why should I ride the Blue Line? I don’t want to be attacked by a junkie with a box cutter.

Unusual cultural names may be fun, but your kids’ teacher is not calling on your kid. If you have an unusual name and you are in business, people will choose a name they can spell. Really. Dentists and doctors, beware.

RHS, once again you and others misunderstand the world oil market, which is fungible, prices are set by the market not the US. Even if the oil companies began to use the thousands of oil leases that are available to them, the price might not change much, especially not fast. The major oil companies, once again set record profits for 2021. They have little reason to lower prices. I am sure they are happy to sit by and watch Americans attack the president while they count their dollars without fear of being controlled.

Has anyone investigated St. Patrick? Was he rude to anyone in the year 402? Perhaps he used gendered pronouns. Maybe he did not speak out against climate change. Was he a champion of equal rights? The zealots ruin every other holiday. I am surprised St. Patrick’s Day has lasted this long.

The Democrats in Chicago are all coming out of the boards and going into the newspapers and saying stuff. Kim Foxx is the main one, hiding all this time and now almost every day you see her face in the newspaper and trying to make noise for TV. These Democrats know they’re in for a fight. These people know that the Republicans are starting to field some people to run against them that aren’t crooks like Burke and Madigan. Democrats, you’re in for a fight and I hope you all lose.
