Naperville voters took the polls Tuesday to select representatives in three different DuPage County board districts. By 11 p.m., DuPage County reported 100% of the Election Day votes had been tabulated.

Boundary shifts and growth in the fourth largest city in the state caused Naperville outgrow District 5 boundaries.

District 5 still comprises most of Naperville and sections of Aurora in DuPage.

Four candidates are running for three open seats in District 5.

Unofficial results show Naperville councilwoman Patricia “Patty” Gustin, the lone Republican with 25.27%. Incumbent Democrats Dawn DeSart and Sadia Covert has 29.05%, and 23.36% respectively while newcomer and Democrat Saba Haider has 22.32%.

In District 3 covers much of southeastern DuPage, including the Naperville neighborhoods of University Heights, Cinnamon Creek and Green Ridge Estates. There are three open seats being sought by six candidates, three Republicans and three Democrats.

Unofficial results show Republican incumbent Brian Krajewski with 16.78% and fellow Republican candidates Kari Galassi and Greg Abbott with 17.26% and 16.30%.

For the Democrats, Lucy Chang Evans is at 18.41%, Amanda Roudebush at 15.93% and Rosemary Spann at 15.32%.

District 6 covers northwest DuPage, including a portion of the new Naper Commons development north of the Nokia property at Warrenville and Naperville roads.

Unofficial results show Democratic incumbents Sheila Rutledge and Greg Schwarze received 18.7% and 16.92%, respectively and Republican incumbent James Zay Jr. 18.22%

Challengers Democrat Jaime Ricklefs is at 13.63% and Republican Robert “Bob” Larsen and Christine Jennifer Winger were at 16.81% and 15.72%, respectively.
