Arrest
Tracy Johnson, 40, of the 1500 block of South Millard Avenue, Chicago, on Nov. 27 was arrested for driving on a revoked license, driving on an expired registration and operating an uninsured vehicle in the 7200 block of Forest Preserve Drive, police said.
Igor Kryzhanovych, 42, of the 8500 block of Lawrence Avenue, Norridge, on Nov. 23 was arrested for DUI, resisting a police officer, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper traffic usage and making an improper turn after a traffic stop at North Oconto and West Lawrence avenues, police said.
Jose Corbo, 22, of the 600 block of North Ridgeway Avenue, Chicago, on Nov. 23 was arrested for retail theft after attempting to walk out of the Harlem Irving Plaza mall wearing Timberland boots he’d taken from Champs, 4104 N. Harlem Ave., police said.
Jose Herrera Torrez, 29, of the 7200 block of Oakley Avenue, on Nov. 21 was arrested for driving when registration is suspended for non-insurance and violating a funeral procession at Harlem Avenue and Irving Park Road, police said.
Check fraud
A man reported to police Nov. 23 that a check for $85.92 had been washed, altered and cashed in the amount of $14,800.92.
Local ordinance
Two juveniles were issued local ordinance citations for retail theft Nov. 25 after attempting to walk out of Nordstrom Rack, 4250 N. Harlem Ave., with cosmetics they’d hidden inside shopping bags, police said.
A 14-year-old from Chicago received a local ordinance citation for retail theft for attempting to walk out of Nordstrom Rack, 4250 N. Harlem Ave., with a $12.97 bottle of sunscreen she’d concealed on herself, police said.
Retail theft
Medications and whitening strips were reported stolen Nov. 26 from Amazon Fresh, 4211 N. Harlem Ave. Total loss was estimated at $2,465.86.
Two Essential brand tees and hoodies were reported stolen Nov. 25 from Sold Out Supplies, 4104 N. Harlem Ave. Estimated loss was $370.
A pair of wireless headphones was reported stolen Nov. 22 from Target, 4050 N. Harlem Ave.
A t-shirt, a jogging suit and a hooded sweater were reported stolen Nov. 21 from Protocol Menswear, 4104 N. Harlem Ave., by two women who took items off displays and then fled the store. Estimated loss was $570.
Six pairs of glasses were reported stolen Nov. 21 from LensCrafters, 4214 N. Harlem Ave., by three women who concealed them and left the store. Estimated loss was $2,184.
Theft
A 2016 Cadillac was reported stolen Nov. 23 from a limo service, 4915 N. Cumberland Ave.
A bag, two containers and an Air Pod case were reported stolen Nov. 21 from a locker at XSport Fitness, 4260 N. Harlem Ave.
Harwood Heights
Burglary from auto
The interior of a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe parked Nov. 21 in the 6800 block of West Leland Street was ransacked; nothing appeared to be taken.
Criminal damage
The passenger side mirror was reported broken off a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze parked in the lot at Mariano’s, 7401 W. Lawrence Ave.
Theft
The catalytic converter was reported stolen Nov. 21 from a 2012 Kia Soul parked in the 4500 block of North Nagle Avenue.
A package containing a Dyson vacuum cleaner was reported stolen Nov. 19 from an apartment building in the 7100 block of West Gunnison Street.
