Fleeing police
Jose Sanchez-Sanchez, 55, of the 8200 block of Oak Street, Niles, was arrested Dec. 2 for fleeing police after being stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Dempster Street, police said. A court date is set for Jan. 10.
Driving under the influence
Hameed Khan, 43, of the 4900 block of Church Street, Skokie, was arrested Dec. 3 for driving under the influence of alcohol and resisting police on the 7100 block of Dempster Street, police said. A court date is set for Dec. 22.
Burglary
Two unknown male subjects appeared on security footage Nov. 30 at a residence on the 8800 block of Mango Street and appeared to have forced open the back door before exiting through the front door, though nothing was missing at the time the complainants notified law enforcement, police said.
Theft
A complainant on the 9400 block of Waukegan Road stated her suitcase was open and her passport was missing Dec. 1, police said.
