Speeding
Jade Mosak, 23, of the 7100 block of Merrimac Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 1. for speeding 64 mph in a 35 mph zone at the intersection of Lehigh and Howard Streets, police said.
Jessie Rosales, 26, of the 10000 block of Michael Todd Road, Glenview, and Christian Ortiz, 31, of the 1200 block of Park Avenue, Melrose Park, were arresteted Dec. 6 for speeding 71 mph in a 35 mph zone and driving under the influence of alcohol while racing cars at the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Maryland Street, police said. A court date is set for Jan. 11.
Other traffic violations
Alegra Rodriguez, 49, of the 400 block of Glendale Road, Buffalo Grove, was arrested Dec. 1. for driving on a suspended driver’s license at the intersection of Milwaukee Avenue and Kedzie Boulevard, police said. A court date is set for Jan. 11.
Veronica Toledo Lopez, 51, of the 8500 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, was arrested Dec. 3 for driving without a driver’s license on the 8500 block of Milwaukee Avenue, police said. A court date is set for Jan. 13.
Cristian Velazquez, 27, of the 5100 block of Elston Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 4 for driving on a suspended driver’s license on the 9400 block of Greenwood Avenue, police said. A court date is set for Dec. 29.
Public intoxication
Chantal Rose, 38, of the 600 block of Seventh Avenue, Marseilles, was arrested Dec. 2 for public intoxication after being found lying down in the parking lot of a Home Depot on the 900 block of Civic Center Drive, police said.
Drug possession
Bremen Campbell III, 18, of the 3000 block of Monitor Drive, Hanover Park, and Megan Namojlik, 19, of the 200 block of Illinois Drive, Arlington Heights, were arrested Dec. 3 for possession of cannabis at the intersection of Touhy and Oak Park Avenues, police said.
A 16-year-old male from Niles was arrested Dec. 6 for possession of cannabis and requiring emergency services on the 7800 block of Nora Avenue, police said.
Driving under the influence
Oscar Ortega Montoya, 26, of the 1000 block of Keeler Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 3 for driving under the influence of alcohol on Milwaukee Avenue, police said. A court date is set for Jan. 3.
Randel Flores, 56, of the 2100 block of Latrobe Avenue, Chicago, was arrested Dec. 5 for driving under the influence of alcohol on Milwaukee Avenue, police said. A court date is set for Jan. 11.
Ki Kang, 69, of the 6700 block of Milwaukee Avenue, Niles, was arrested Dec. 7 for driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Devon and Milwaukee Avenues, police said. A court date is set for Jan. 11.
Theft
Helen O’Brien, 70, of the 3100 block of Town Square, Rolling Meadows, and Kathleen Hall, 69, of the 9400 block of Bay Colony Road, Des Plaines, were arrested Dec. 5 for theft after trying to conceal merchandise from the JC Penney in Golf Mill Mall without paying, police said.
An unknown male subject removed about $931 worth of merchandise from the Ulta at 600 Golf Mill Court Dec. 1, police said.
Burglary
A car parked outside a residence on the 6800 block of Touhy Avenue was accessed Dec. 6 and an ID and social security card were taken from a purse that was left in the car, police said.
